Prince Louis' Christening creating a buzz amongst the fashion community.
Prince Louis was recently christened on the 9th of July at the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace in a replica of the Honiton gown, a 19th century gown dating all the way back to Queen Victoria’s first born Victoria Adelaide Mary Louisa’s christening. The Honiton gown has also been inspired by Queen Victoria's wedding dress and was made from white silk and a handmade lace overlay. The Honiton gown truly does show that bespoke gowns are timeless, a masterpiece of both its time and ours and will continue to be so in the future.
